Welcome to Sorted-Out!

Where We Make Chaos; Make Sense.

Hey there, I hope you are doing well!
First off, thanks for being here. Whether you found Sorted-Out through a client, social media, or a moment of desperation staring at your office like “how did it get this bad?”, you’re definitely in the right place.

Let me start with this:
I don’t believe in perfection (as none of us can confidentially say we are perfect ourselves). However, I do believe in progress, in better organizational systems, and in being able to find that one rogue wire you’ve been hoarding when you actually need it.

I started Sorted-Out because I saw too many smart and successful people drowning in paper piles, “junk” drawers, break rooms full of who-knows-what, and supply closets that could double as escape rooms. And honestly? It's not your fault.

We’re busy, we’re human, and no one teaches us how to run a workspace that runs smoothly.

So that’s what I’m here to help with!

In good faith, I would like to present you all with 5 organizational tips that you can practice with your office space to help get your business, sorted out.

(1) The “One-In, One-Out” Rule
If something new comes into your office (new mug, new notepads, new promo pens), something else has to go. This will help keep the clutter in check without needing to Marie Kondo your entire life.

(2) Label Maker > Memory
I can promise you that your brain definitely has better things to do than remember which cabinet the envelopes are in. Labels are a true God send, and they help create instant clarity. Plus your team won’t ask you where the spare printer ink cartridges are for the 400th time.

(3) Break Room Audit
Check your breakroom fridge right now, I’ll wait.
If there’s salad dressing from 2022, it’s time to clean that sucker out. Additionally, it can be very helpful to schedule a monthly cleanout and post a friendly-but-firm reminder. You'll be shocked how much better people treat a tidy space!

(4) The “Sunday 15”
Take 15 minutes on a Sunday (or Monday morning, in most businesses case) to reset your workspace. Toss trash, sort the random pile of documents (i.e., for scanning, shredding, or filing), and clear the top of your desk. You’ll walk into the rest of your week feeling like a boss- and not a disaster.

(5) Give Every Item a Home
I know it can sound cliche, but seriously; Every single thing. Paperclips, markers, backup chargers, they all need a place to live. If it doesn't have one, it’s probably just floating through life- consequentially making yours harder.

Overall, Success is a decision.
And so is deciding not to live in chaos. You deserve a space that works for you, not against you.

So here’s a challenge that I present to you this week:
Pick one small area- just one- and give it 10 intentional minutes to work on it. Whether that be a drawer, a corner of your desk or that one shelf no one talks about.
Then look at it, smile, and let that momentum grow.

We’re not going for Pinterest-perfect. We’re going for peaceful, functional, and done.

Until next time,
